
Scottish Green Awards Win

The inaugural Scottish Green Awards, created by Scottish Business Insider in association with title sponsor ScottishPower took place on Thursday 1st October at the Science Centre, Glasgow. The William Tracey Group were delighted to be presented with the Award for Best Green Industry Large Business after submitting an application outlining outcomes, opportunities and benefits of The William Tracey Groups operations as well as highlighting areas for others to learn from through experience gained.
Scottish Business Insider decided to establish this high profile annual focus for actively promoting Scotland as a country that encourages sustainability, tackles climate change and is committed to improving energy efficiency.

The judging panel included Callum McDonald from SEPA, Brendan Dick from BT and Richard Dixon from WWF Scotland.
The award ceremony was hosted by Jackie Bird and Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Minister for Environment spoke at the event and handed out awards.
Other winners on the night included City Building, Stagecoach Group, Starter Packs Glasgow and NHS Lothian.
