HISTORY
The William Tracey Group has a long proven history of chemical manufacturing. For over 100 years our site in Paisley has serviced our customers with a variety of Performance Products and Speciality Chemicals. We regularly supply into oilfield chemicals, metalworking fluids, inks and dyes, agrochemicals, personal care and industrial cleaning products to name a few.
CHEMISTRY AND PROCESS EXPERIENCE
We offer a broad experience of processes and chemistries including: esterification, polymerisation, saponification, neutralisation, filtration, distillation, oxidation, blending, dispersion, dilution, hydrolysis, emulsification, dissolution and bleaching. This list is not meant to be exhaustive and we will consider any chemistry based upon its suitability to our equipment and capabilities. SERVICE
Our manufacturing service offering is comprehensive, extending from sourcing raw material, through to final packaging, labelling and shipping. We can package into anything from bulk ISO liquid containers through IBCs, drums to small 25L/5L packs. We are also experienced in preparing goods for export, currently shipping product all round the world including: Turkey, Spain, Canada, China and South Korea.

We offer both the complete service encompassing every step outlined, as well as a bespoke service where our customers use the steps they require.
MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES
The flexibility that we offer in our manufacturing service is reflected in our equipment. We have a range of temperature controlled Stainless Steel batch reaction vessels ranging from 1000L to 25,000L offering a total of capacity of 65m3. We can offer temperatures up to 140⁰C, flash distillation and filtration where we can produce in-line with ISO or NAS standards. The manufacturing facilities are Atex Zone 2 rated and we have extensive experience in manufacturing with flammable, toxic and hazardous materials.
ACCREDITATION
Our Chemical Manufacturing and Warehousing services are externally accredited with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems, ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 and PAS 99 accreditation. We have experience in registering products through REACH and can help with this for the contract manufacturing of products.
FUTURE
We plan to grow our manufacturing and service offering and to this end will be investing further in our site and equipment. We are always keen to discuss new opportunities and are happy to trial new chemistries under laboratory conditions to assess suitability for full scale manufacturing and associated costs. Warehousing
Since 2002 The William Tracey Group has been providing, secure storage facilities at two of our locations: Dunniflats and Paisley. Both these sites are secure with both 24 hour monitoring and barrier control.
We regularly store raw materials, semi finished product and finished product for our customers at our sites. Our Dunniflats site is lower tier COMAH rated and this storage facility has capacity for over 3000 pallets.
We also offer repacking and powder bagging services and have experience in transferring imports into standard UK bags.
