The William Tracey Group provided waste management services to the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish open Golf, held at Dundonald Links, Ayrshire between 13-16 July.

Dundonald Links golf course in Troon, Ayrshire hosted the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open which is attended by guests, visitors and players from all over the world.

The William Tracey Group assists Dundonald Links with their waste management services and was delighted to be on hand to assist Aberdeen Asset Management throughout the term of this prestigious event, to help them achieve their zero waste to landfill goals whilst delivering a first class service.

The William Tracey Group supplied new skips, bins and invaluable on-site support.  The Irvine depot provided an all in one service for the event.  Employees from across the Group pulled together to ensure things ran smoothly as possible.

Tom Horner, Operations Manager from the Irvine depot visited the site in the weeks prior to the event to ensure that staff understood how to recycle effectively.  Ryan Crawford, Business Development Manager attended liaison meetings to ensure the team provided a first class service.  Drivers also worked extended shifts to accommodate the event.  The Irvine depot office staff provided additional support.  Thank you to all involved, who helped ensure this was a successful event.

Since opening in 2003, Dundonald Links has been committed to the implementation of a wide range of environmental policies and proactive measures to help protect and sustain the local, national and global environment.  The club is one of the first to be recognised by the Scottish Golf Union and the Scottish Golf Environment Group with the "Scottish Golf Environment Certificate for Waste."
