We spent some time with Driver, Harry Gibson who is based within the non hazardous division at our Newbridge depot.

How long have you worked with the William Tracey Group?

I have worked with the William Tracey Group for 9 months.

What do you like the most about your job/working with the WTG?

I like working with the William Tracey Group as I have the opportunity to drive a decent, well maintained vehicle.  I work with a great bunch of co-workers who are very helpful in regards to enquiries regarding locations, if I am in doubt.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A typical day for me is challenging as I am fairly new to the area.

As a driver, what challenges do you face?

Driving brings a lot of challenges like the volume of traffic, delays due to traffic.  I also face challenges with containers not being presented properly i.e. overloaded, materials overhanging or the load being too high.  Low bridges and overhanging branches of trees also create challenges.

Tell us a bit about yourself and any interests you have outside of work?

I enjoy playing golf and I am a member of Deer Park Golf and Country Club.  I also like football and ice hockey, of which I used to play in my younger days.  I also like to read crime novels and do Sodoku.
