Job Description

Provide technical assistance for hazardous waste operation in conjunction with the assistant site manager, ensuring all processes are carried out in line with the company's safety, health, environmental and quality policies and procedures. 

Key Duties/ Tasks

·     Assisting in operations on the transfer station

·     Provide technical support to operators and sales team

·     Complete analysis on incoming waste

·     Test samples from plant

·     Acceptance / Pre acceptance testing

·     Complete non conformance reports

·     Compatibility testing for processing

·     Repacking lab smalls on and off site

·     Prepare labels for packaged waste

·     Analyse sales samples

·     Housekeeping in the lab

·     Near Miss reporting

·     Any other duties required by the company

Must have minimum HNC or equivalent in a science subject. Experience not essential as full training will be given. Driving licence would be advantageous.
